This is the fresh air intake for my sandblasting booth. It is made of 6" galvanized tubing, shaped like a candy cane to stop any unwanted moisture from entering. The tubing is then routed to the cold air discharge of a 6600 BTU window air conditioning unit.
The window unit is wired to come on when the blower is turned on by a switch at the door of the booth. The unit itself has a delay for the compressor of 2 minutes, so I won't accidentally kill it by turning it on & off too quickly.
In this picture you can see the "candy cane" that is the blower exhaust. The two large AC units are for the office and the shop.
